Implementing Structures and Mechanisms to ensure non-hierarchy in Youth-Led Climate Campaigns
Organisation name: Teach the Future
Project title: Implementing Structures and Mechanisms to ensure non-hierarchy in Youth-Led Climate Campaigns
Type of project:
Short summary: Teach the Future is a youth and student-led campaign to repurpose the education system for the climate and ecological emergency. The campaign works in England, Wales and Scotland and will soon launch in Northern Ireland.
Our non-hierarchical campaign is growing quickly, and we want to solidify internal systems and mechanisms to ensure fairness and our non-hierarchical values.
We will begin running interviews with volunteers on their experiences with the campaign. We will then transcribe and analyse the date to identify opportunities and challenges to ensuring non-hierarchy in campaign operations.
What I am looking for: We are looking for an individual interested in helping conduct interviews and analyse data, as well as working out how to implement changes within the campaign based off data analysis.
We are flexible with how this may look, and are open to discussing whether this would be a project, or a dissertation opportunity for you.
This opportunity can support you to develop skills in campaigning, qualitative data analysis and project management
