Short summary: Examining the food experiences of hard-to-reach Plymouth residents.
Detailed summary: This project fed into an overarching project of 'Who feeds Plymouth?'. This gave rise to several other research questions to be completed as part of the project, including 'which areas of the city and which groups of Plymouth residents would be most adversely affected by vulnerabilities in the food supply system?'. With rising levels of food poverty across the UK, this project targets vulnerable individuals, who are traditionally harder for researchers to access. These populations tend to be marginalised in terms of health promotion. Those on lower incomes may be disproportionally affected by the rising food prices, and this project examines their challenges and experiences of food insecurity.
