Short summary: After doing a 5 week placement with the West Midlands Ambulance Service, I became very interested in workplace equality among those with visible and non visible disabilities.
Detailed summary: I am interested in potentially studying the financial impact of employing people with various disabilities. Currently there is a stigma that it is expensive to make the required adjustments disabled employees require and they work less efficiently than staff without disabilities. I am looking to study this image and explore how having a disabled workforce can bring an organisation various financial benefits.
